Giulietta Fall 2015 New York Fashion Week

It's the season for fashion again in New York. The Fall 2015 New York Fashion Week shows just ended and it is always a whirl wind. The past few season's I have been invited to attend the Giulietta show. Designed by Italian born Sofia Sizzi, it is always infused with her passion for 1960's cinema. Before the show even starts I love admiring all the Italian fashion girls at the show. Their particular style is an eclectic mix of designer brands. As the lights went down and the show began the dark glamour inspired by Bernardo Bertolucci's "The Conformist" walk out. There were sharp geometric prints, chevron patterns and touches of crystal sparkle. As always I was drawn to the glimmering embroidery on the militaristic dresses and coats. The final walk ended on a airy high note of soft rose and jade tones. Giulietta is a show that truly inspires me with every new collection.
