Get Beautiful Skin with The Dew Puff
It's time to take care of YOU! Taking care of your skin is so important for so many reasons. Some want to look youthful for as long as possible (me included), some just want to stay clear of any skin problems (me included). Whatever your reason, I would like to introduce to you...drum roll please...
The Dew Puff is a great alternative to your regular facial washcloth (if you use one). This sponge is soft and gentle, yet provides plant fibers that help to exfoliate and refresh the skin. The sponge is made from the root of the konjac plant found in Asia. It is known in Japan for its medicinal qualities for delicate skin. It has a natural ability to break down dirt and promote circulation (what you need for healthy, plump skin). You can use alone or you can add your favorite cleanser. I have been using the Dew Puff with Bamboo Charcoal sponge ($8) that has natural antioxidants for blemish prone skin, and adding a dime size amount of my fave Origins GinZing facial cleanser. The charcoal puff contains carbon and minerals to help prevent breakouts and fight other bacteria. The puff comes in plastic packaging and is rough to the touch but softens when activated with water. To activate the sponge hold underwater for a minute or two until it is soft then ready to use. Another reason I like this sponge is that it’s reusable and effective for about three months. So far, I have to say, my skin feels much softer and most blemishes have disappeared much faster than normal. These are def worth a shot if you have skin issues or just up to try something new!
