Chanel By The Beach
Chanel's fashion week shows are always grandiose but this season for Spring/Summer 2019 was literally unbelievable. The designer recreated and entire beach "la plage" scene inside Le Grand Palais with the gentle crashing sound of an ocean. There was a painted coastline backdrop and sandy beach complete with boardwalk. Fun fact, Coco Chanel's favorite sea was Deauville, where her first store was opened.
Models were barefoot in tweed, wearing hues of Summer. Low jeans were paired with one piece swimwear and chunky gold belts. So glam on another level. Watch the whole show below.
