Mixing Up Cocktails with Bobby Frascella
One of the best parts of my job is hosting events. Most often it is fashion and beauty related but this time it was mixing up cocktails and I am not mad about that. My new partnership DelBezz Inc. with Christopher Bezzone produced and hosted a festive evening at Cambridge Wines in Morristown, NJ.
We kicked off a rainy Wednesday night with delicious cool colored cocktails with an expert mixologist Bobby Frascella of Summit House. This was their first of a series called #MiXShop. We invited a VIP group of 25 guests to watch and sip some tasty drinks and telling others about their #PurXperience afterward.
We made three different cocktails. The first drink was the perfect, purple Empress Gin Gimlet, the prettiest color for a drink. The true fun started happening as we moved to the bar area where Bobby showed us how to shake up a Rye Gunslinger. This delectable cocktail has a few ingredients including an Amaro, blood orange liqueur, and a perfectly dried blood orange for garnish.
The final cocktail was on the sweet side of things, as Bobby showed us how to make a Chocolate Martini with decadent chocolate vodka. Besides as a drink this liquor seemed even better poured over ice cream, or popcorn.
Jenna Williams was there snapping these memories of the entire night. So the best part is that all these tasty drinks have a healthier side on how to prepare them, so one of the guests was the book Clean Cocktails author Beth Nydick, who gladly gave her tips on how to make clean cocktails.
