Inspired the Girls

March 8th is International Women's Day and after having a niece I realize how important it is to show her how strong and beautiful she is. I want her to always see herself as graceful yet powerful. They learn by watching and listening. I know she pays attention to what I do and how I treat myself. It's the little things even just treating yourself to something special.

I saw Saks OFF 5TH is partnering with Girls Inc., which is committed to inspiring girls to be strong, smart and bold. They focus on the development of the whole girl with long-lasting mentoring relationships and equip girls to lead fulfilling and productive lives, break the cycle of poverty, and become role models in their community. Not all little girls will have supportive family to lead them. I thought this would be a great way to support these young girls.
