Magical Trip to Italy For The Night

What a perfect night it was at Farinolio Cucina in Westfield, NJ, that felt like a quick trip back to Italy. My dear friend Laura Orlando invited myself and a few good friends to spend a night eating in “Emilia Romagna” enjoying all of the food from that region. It is part of their after dark dining experiences.

The night started with a glass of Lambrusco and delightful little bites. The we sat at our table al fresco to enjoy Prosciutto di Parma with squacquerone cheese,

mousse of PDO Mortadella di Bologna with pistachio & robiola cheese with crispy schiacciata strips

Pinzimonio a vegetable crudité served with aged traditional balsamic vinegar of Modena and insalata with strawberry, Parmigiano Reggiano & aged traditional balsamic vinegar of Modena.

The main course was Risotto with 5 year aged Parmigiano Reggiano balsamic vinegar of Modena.

To finish the most simple but delicious dessert peaches served in Lambrusco red wine.
